We take pleasure in sourcing, organising and hosting international field sporting trips that will offer you a once in a lifetime experience – delivered with a personable and professional service. Criddle Fieldsports was established in 2014 by Will Criddle after 20 years of invaluable experience in field sport organisation and management – working for a selection of distinguished shooting establishments such as E.J Churchill Shooting Ground and Bettws Hall in Powys. Drawing upon our portfolio of worldwide shooting destinations, unrivalled expertise and international contacts, our objective is to take the hassle and stress out of your trip – creating the finest of shooting experiences.
For us shooting is not just about pulling the trigger. It is the whole package which includes the accommodation too. For each of the shoots we represent we have an array of first class accommodation to match. This ranges from private houses, castles, lodges, hotels, pubs and inns. On occasion some of our clients come to us with a specific venue or location that they would like to visit. We then tailor the shooting experience around the desired destination to create a bespoke and truly spectacular sporting package for the shooting party. We hope to inspire you and arrange the very best and most memorable, customised sporting trips worldwide. Your trip is unique to you and our job is to make it simply exceptional. Will grew up on a farm with their own shoot giving him a solid grounding in rearing pheasants. When the family farm diversified, with the set-up of a hotel and restaurant, Will quickly learned that quality and customer service were paramount. These early years were followed by two decades working in field sports − including managing distinguished shooting establishments E.J. Churchill and Bettws Hall.

Alex grew up on a beautiful Herefordshire estate, enjoying looking after the guests at their luxury bed & breakfast, whilst establishing a popular farm shoot across the neighbouring land.
Alex completed his degree in Rural Land Management in 2006 and enjoyed a short but successful career as an auctioneer. He was keen to return to the countryside and took a position at Bettws Hall, getting involved in every aspect of the business.
‘I was pleased to join Criddle Fieldsports, bringing with me a wealth of estate management knowledge and a love for hosting shoots; I am delighted to be Will’s right-hand man’.

Verity has seen the company grow and evolve since her husband Will started the business in 2014. She spent 23 years as an Investment Manager before deciding to leave in 2016 to spend more time looking after their two children Charlie and Jemima, and to support Will with the expanding business. Verity oversees shooting estates managed by Will, and also assists with the general running of the business including HR, operations and finance.
Originally from the Shropshire area Verity has a passion for the countryside, enjoys walking their three dogs and horse riding.

We have an experienced team of loaders who have all got many years of experience in the industry, ensuring you will be provided with the best knowledge and service.
Our Photography Partners
Let the memories last forever. Our photography partners are some of the best in the country, they will capture the best greatest moments from your adventure without even knowing they are there! If you decide that you want to have a professional photographer to accompany your trip we will organise this for you.
All of our partners understand the importance of capturing the best shot without being invasive on your shoot day. Once the pictures have been finalised and finished we also offer an option to have a photo book made. This is a great way to show friends, colleagues and family what an excellent trip you have had.

Scott Wicking
Scott’s career began in 1995 working on features for The Daily Telegraph, only a few months after completing the prestigious Post Grad Dip in Photojournalism at Cardiff. Returning to his coastal & country roots in the late ’90’s, he quickly became the go to snapper in The North for the major country sports magazines. He was the official photographer for the world class shoots at Mulgrave Castle and Lambton Hall, and continues to work with long standing clients at venues across the country.
